A 20 year old from Walsall who was born with a heart defect was left fighting for his life when he suffered a stroke after a heart operation last October. Doctors feared the worst - and told his family there was nothing they could do and were considering switching off life support in December. Fortunately, Brooklyn Peakman has since made a miraculous recovery following a heart transplant a few weeks ago.
