Increasing numbers of women are reporting problems after having ‘thread lift’ treatments, often known as the ‘lunchtime facelifts’. Save Face is a national register of accredited practitioners of non-surgical cosmetic treatments set up to improve safety standards. The number of complaints about the treatments have more than doubled in the past year. Ashton Collins, Director of Save Face joined Emma Barnett to discuss the risks of undergoing ‘thread lift’ treatments from providers who are poorly trained which in some cases have led to serious complications.
