"Why do you hate someone who's trying to tell you the truth?"

Twiggy

Available for over a year

Laws have been set out in the Queen's Speech that ensure the police have the tools and powers to manage disruptive protesters. New criminal offences, including 'locking-on' to objects or buildings could carry a maximum penalty of six month's imprisonment. Obstructing major transport works - such as the HS2 project - could result in 12-months in prison. Godfrey Meynell from Kirk Langley is part of Extinction Rebellion, he told Andy Twigge that protesting was necessary, despite the new restrictions.
