Retired teacher James Kagambi is the first native Kenyan to reach the summit of the world's highest mountain, Mt Everest. The 62-year-old was part of the Full Circle Everest team which made history as the first all-black group to reach the summit. The journey to the top took about 40 days. After his safe return to the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, James Kagambi spoke to Focus on Africa's Veronique Edwards about his amazing feat and what he had planned to do at the peak.
