Soldiers from 16 Air Assault Brigade, based at Colchester's Merville Barracks, remain under investigation after a video emerged of paratroopers having sex with a woman they'd reportedly smuggled into their barracks. The Armed Forces Minister, James Heappey, has told the media that the footage was "disgraceful". The Ministry of Defence has said in a statement: “The Army expects the highest standards of behaviour from all their personnel. Anyone not maintaining these standards will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken against them.
