Recorded in and around The Peak District, Journey of a Drop is an energetic, yet thoughtful exploration of the journey water takes before it reaches our cities. Following the journey taken by a single drop of water, our odyssey begins up in the clouds, a deserted space of wind, rain and thunder. Crashing from the sky, the drop eventually reaches the man-made world, entering a vast reservoir via a cascading and tumultuous mountainside river. From the chaotic mountain descent, to the serenity of the reservoir, Journey of a Drop traverses the most dramatic stage of the water cycle.
