Wellness Junction started as a group on WhatsApp during Covid-19 when Asian elderly women were very anxious and isolated. The women didn’t know how to access any other platform and Minnie and Mandavi taught them how to access zoom over the phone which led to at least thirty women accessing stress and anxiety management via zoom once a week. After lockdowns the group moved to face to face meetings at the Broad Street Hall and now meet each week. This diverse group meet twice a week for singing, chair yoga, dance and it has improved participants mental health.
