Since launching Pukaar magazine in 2012, Romail Gulzar has been at the heart of Leicester's news and communities. Since then he's launched the Curry Awards for Leicester, Toronto and Paris and are due to start their own newspaper next year. Romail has been nominated for a Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester Make A Difference Awards, recognising people in the community who go above and beyond. We had hundreds of nominations across all the categories and over the next 8 weeks we are going to reveal that shortlist - and hear from the finalists.
