'The only way to really help prisoners is from the inside out'

Jon Floyd spent 7 and a half years in prison in Birmingham. While inside he started a charity called Inside Job which helps people maintain their mental get into immediate work on release. Inside Job works in 5 prisons in the West Midlands and says its helping to prevent reoffending. Jon has just completed a 100 mile walk from Her Majesty's Prison in Winson Green to his home town of Manchester to raise funds for the charity. He recently joined me in the studio along with Heather Phillips who walked with him to tell me the ups and downs of their journey:
