Knitters - your help is needed! Freshfields Animal Sanctuary have launched their Christmas Appeal - and part of it is a call out for crafter knitters to help create over 100 woolly hats - and no, it's not for the animals! The winter warmers will be put into Christmas gift bags, which are part of an annual joint initiative with Liverpool-based Care for the Paw - they help homeless people take care of their dogs, providing blankets, clothing, food, and toys for pets living on the streets or in hostels, as well as veterinary help too.
