Archaeologists have returned to the Rutland Roman villa site - unearthing further secrets. First discovered on farmland in 2020, investigative work by a team from University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS), working in partnership with Historic England has uncovered new evidence pointing to the complex housing one of Britain’s earliest barn conversions. Ben Jackson met Jen Browning the Project Officer for University of Leicester Archaeological services at the dig.
