According to the relationship charity Relate, deciding who to spend Christmas with is often a major source of tension in relationships and families. On Â鶹Éç Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, we discussed convincing your adult children to spend Christmas with you. Krupa Padhy spoke to mum, actor and writer Sue Elliot Nicholls who says she’s already preparing for the fact that her sons will choose their girlfriends' families over her. Krupa also heard from relationship psychologist Emma Kenny about what to do about the Christmas day dilemma. Krupa started by asking Sue why she believes it’s getting harder to have her 21 and 27-year-old sons home with her on Christmas day.
