A curfew has been implemented in Cameroon’s economic capital, Douala, due to an increase in violent attacks by groups of young men known as ‘Les Microbes’. Movement by bike riders and the use of restaurants and liquor bars has been banned between 8pm to 6am for an indefinite period. The carrying of knives and sharp objects has also been prohibited. We hear from citizens in Douala about how they are coping with the current situation. (Photo credit: Getty Images).
