The suspension of eight journalists from Twitter has prompted warnings about the need to protect free speech - and not just in the US.聽 A vice president of the European Commission has said that the move had been, in her words, "worrying".聽 So what was it that led to the journalists being kicked off the platform - at least temporarily?聽 All of them work for US-based media outlets; some of them have been critical of Mr Musk's takeover of the social media platform, and some had refered to an account, now also blocked, which tracked the flight path of the billionaire's private jet.
