Last year, musician Bucci was involved in the launch of the first Malawian Sign Language dictionary. He created a song ‘Apapa’ which talks about the challenges of living with a hearing impairment and features sign language in the music video, which became a dance challenge on TikTok. Veronique Edwards spoke to Bucci to find out what inspired him to raise awareness of this issue.
