'I don't think social care is broken, it just needs redesigning' Social care in the West Midlands.

Rakeem Omar

Available for over a year

A West Midland's man who suffered life changing injuries in an attack is trying to help change the way social care works. Clenton Farquharson from Chelmsley Wood has been involved in putting together a report that's out today which calls for a 'radical re-design' of the ' broken' system. It was commissioned by Archbishops in England and says people who use social care say they want 'a gloriously ordinary life'. Not only to have their basic needs met, but to live fulfilling and meaningful lives doing the things that many of us take for granted.
