Creative Lives reporter Trevor Pitt was given a tour of the 'Cover Up' exhibition by the artist behind the community art project, Garry Jones, and people who made some of the quilts; Marcie Porteous from Sew Marvellous, and artists Charlotte Blazier and Jade Durling. The exhibition features 52 quilts that were created by artists and local communities to commemorate 40 years since the emergence of HIV and AIDS. 'Cover Up' is on display at four Centenary Square venues in Birmingham until the end of January 2023, at which point, they will be on display at Birmingham City University at Millennium Point from 6 February 2023.
