Is a peace deal in Northern Ethiopia holding?

Newsday

Available for over a year

Independent estimates say the bloodiest war of the last few years hasn't been in Ukraine -- but in northern Ethiopia. As many as six-hundred thousand people may have died during the war between Ethiopian federal forces - who are backed by neighbouring Eritrea - and forces from the Tigray region. The fighting stopped in November last year with an African Union-brokered peace deal. So three months on, to what extent is the deal being implemented? Mike Hammer is the US State Department's Envoy to the Horn of Africa, and he has been speaking to Newsday's Tim Franks.
