Research shows that almost 2 and a half million adults in England can’t read at all or can barely read. And thanks to Jay Blades' 'Learning To Read at 51' on the Â鶹Éç, Literacy charity Read Easy UK has reported a record 104% increase in signups to its adult reading programme in 2022. Sue Pike is from Read Easy Leicester and Steph joined the programme having seen Jay Blade's documentary in 2022.
