Paul Salt

Available for over a year

Testing of a four-day working week suggests it doesn't harm the performance of companies and leaves employees feeling healthier and happier. Sixty-one businesses across the UK took part in the world's biggest trial, organised by researchers here and in the United States, along with the campaign group, 4 Day Week Global. Last October, Labour MP for Bootle, Peter Dowd, tabled a bill in Parliament calling for the introduction of a 4 day week. He's been telling Â鶹Éç Radio Merseyside what kind of response he's had both in Westminster and beyond and Paul Dustain, is the director responsible for sales at DataLase, based in Widnes which have already switched to a shorter working week.
