Testing of a four-day working week suggests it doesn't harm the performance of companies and leaves employees feeling healthier and happier. Sixty-one businesses across the UK took part in the world's biggest trial, organised by researchers here and in the United States, along with the campaign group, 4 Day Week Global. Last October, Labour MP for Bootle, Peter Dowd, tabled a bill in Parliament calling for the introduction of a 4 day week.
