A 6.4 magnitude tremor struck again on Monday near the city of Antakya in Turkey close to the border with Syria. The region has already been badly devastated by two previous earthquakes on 6 February. Rescuers are once again searching for people trapped under rubble. At least six people have died and 294 people have been injured - 18 of them seriously. In Syria, some 470 injured people are said to have visited hospitals after Monday's quakes. Tom Colley from the UK aid organisation, HelpAge International, is in the city of Gaziantep and felt the tremors: "In Gazantiep the damage is relatively light. But we've had reports from Hatay and the city of Antakya where there's been considerable damage because that's near the epicentre. In adjacent areas inside of Syria, one of our partner organisations, the Syrian Expatriate Medical Association, reported having to evacuate some of their hospitals because of structural damage." The new tremors have further added to infrastructure damage which has impacted the arrival of humanitarian aid.
