Researchers say rising global temperatures as a result of climate change will affect the number of home runs in baseball. The study by researchers at Dartmouth College in the United States says that only 1% of recent home runs are attributable to climate change, but that rising temperatures could account for 10% or more of home runs by 2100 if greenhouse gas emissions and climate change continue unabated. Chris Callahan is the lead author of the study about how climate change is affecting baseball and he explained how it'll happen to Newshour's Julian Marshall.
