A new study suggests the first human mission to Mars should consist of an all-female crew because they are more efficient. Researchers from the European Space Agency (Esa) found women use less oxygen, produce less carbon dioxide and require less food than their male counterparts. Cady Coleman is a chemist, an engineer and a retired Nasa astronaut who is a veteran of two space shuttle missions.
