In a landmark ruling, Namibia’s Supreme Court has said they will officially recognise same-sex marriages conducted abroad between citizens and foreign spouses - despite sodomy being illegal in the country. The decision overturns a ruling reached last year by the High Court, which refused to accept same-sex marriages concluded outside Namibia. Karnie Sharp spoke to Arlana Shikongo, a journalist based in Windhoek to learn more about the ruling. (Credit: Hildegard Titus/AFP via Getty Images).
