Leicestershire County council run community kitchens across the county where people can come together to cook and eat. They had an idea to make meals from leftovers to tie in with trying to reduce the amount of food waster across Leicestershire. Never to miss an opportunity to taste food, our reporter Sara Palmer went along to have a taste of the recipes that have been sent in and will go on line for anyone to access.
