Holloway: why have pot plants been deemed a fire hazard?

Available for over a year

Residents at an apartment block in north London claim their housing association is threatening to remove items like plant pots and prams over alleged safety concerns. People living in Bakersfield, Holloway, said a letter from Notting Hill Genesis declared any items sitting outside in shared spaces must be removed. The letter claimed the objects represented a "severe fire hazard". The housing provider said it was not its intention to cause distress and that its priority was to keep residents safe. Â鶹Éç Radio London's Sarah Morris reports.
