A Loughborough student has ended Britain's 61-year wait for a boys' singles champion at Wimbledon. Henry Searle, who is originally from Wolverhampton, beat Russia's Yaroslav Demin 6-4 6-4 to claim the title on Court One on Sunday. Henry trains at the LTA’s national tennis academy in Loughborough, but still attends Amherst School in the town. He is the first British boy to win the title since Stanley Matthews in 1962, and he did so without losing a single set across the whole tournament. So it was a very proud moment for the team in Loughborough. Nathan Miller is Academy Manager and Head of Performance Support at the academy, and was full of joy when he spoke to Jack Rafferty.
