Last season Hampshire reached the semi finals of the 50 Over One day cup. They were beaten in a narrow contest at home by eventual winners Kent. Hants had a successful group campaign finishing top with seven wins from eight matches. "Last year the team spirit won us a few games we shouldn't have won." said Head coach Adi Birrell.
