Reports suggest military rescuers in northern Pakistan have managed to free several children from a trapped cable car dangling above a ravine. The children, aged between 10 and 16, were going to school in Battagram when one of the cables snapped - leaving the car stuck 274m (900 ft) above the ground. The military deployed helicopters to get access but strong winds have been hindering the precarious operation. Jay O'Donnell is a former search and rescue helicopter winchman in England. He spoke to Â鶹Éç Newshour’s Tim Franks about some of the challenges the rescuers face.
