Prep work's starting ahead of Cambridgeshire's next major road project. National Highways are getting ready to widen the A428 between the Black Cat roundabout on the A1, and the roundabout at Caxton Gibbet. The 10 mile dual carriageway will hopefully transform journey times between Milton Keynes, Bedford, St Neots, and Cambridge. Paul Salmon, Senior Projects Manager on the scheme spoke to Dotty McLeod.
