Curtis Davies played in the Premier League for four different clubs including Aston Villa. He was called up to the England squad at senior level but never played a match. At the age of 38, he announced that he would accept a surprise invitation to play for his father's homeland Sierra Leone. He told Newsday: "I dedicate this to my Dad... After speaking to him about it I could hear the pride in his voice. It's never too late to engage with your roots."
