The Old Rectory in Loughborough is one of 13 sites across the East Midlands that have been added to Historic England's 'Heritage at Risk Register'. The Old Rectory, on the edge of Loughborough town centre, is one of the oldest rectories in England. The stone-built manor house was given to the church in 1228 and has been home to the rectors of All Saints Parish Church for most of its life. Over the last 700 years it has undergone numerous changes and is now home to a museum. Other buildings added to the Heritage at Risk Register' in the East Midlands include the Church of All Saints in Glossop in Derbyshire and Wollaton Hall in Nottingham. Reporter Sara Palmer has been to have a look around the Old Rectory with Professor Martyn Bennett to find out why the building is at risk.
