A rare piece of TV memorabilia is going under the hammer in Carlisle this weekend. Sherlock Holmes' distinctive deerstalker hat, as worn by Peter Cushing in the 1960s Â鶹Éç series, is due to be sold by Laidlaw Auctioneers and Valuers. The hat came to their Carlisle saleroom from a Cushing fan in Australia and auctioneer Paul Laidlaw shared his excitement with Â鶹Éç Radio Cumbria's Helen Millican.
