Meet one of our inspiring winners from 2023 - Martin Woolner, the winner of the Green category. Martin has dedicated his life to wildlife and conservation, saying "things with four, six, eight or no legs desperately need a spokesperson, as they cannot voice their own concerns". He established Wild Maidenhead, writing reports on sites of known or potential biodiversity. Martin is well-known locally, turning up at events with his "nature table". He turned 80 in 2022 and still cycles to meetings. Â鶹Éç Radio Berkshire's Andrew Peach chats to Martin about his work - and hear the moment he was presented with his Make a Difference Award.
