New flood defences in Worcester 'finally arrived'
Available for over a year
Work's started on a new £2.5 million pound flood defence scheme in Worcester - aimed at protecting people who've suffered years of heartache. A sod-cutting ceremony took place in Toronto Close today, where a new embankment is being created and an historic wall is being rebuilt to keep future floods at bay. The street's been badly affected by floods - but the Environment Agency say all that will be changing. Our reporter Tom Edwards went along to speak with residents, and Marc Lidderth from the Environment Agency.
