£19 million pound scheme set up to encourage people to take the bus to work

Available for over a year

Transport For West Midlands are launching a new £19 million pound scheme - to encourage more people to take the bus to work. Funded by the Government, it will be offered to employers and organisations across our region - who can then invite their staff to sign up and get an introductory period of FREE or discounted travel. It's similar to new customer deals offered by streaming services like Netflix and Prime. The idea is to encourage more people to switch to taking the bus long term. Pete Bond - a Director from Transport For West Midlands spoke to Trish Adudu
