After raising £47,000 in sponsorship money, Gill buys vital supplies for Gynocare, a specialist Women's hospital in Eldoret, Kenya which she first visited in 2022. During that visit, Gill learned that stoma bags can be hard to come by for stoma patients there and some women - many of whom live remotely - have very little aftercare once they’ve had surgery. Accompanied by a specialist stoma nurse to provide clinical advice and workshops on managing life with a stoma, Gill returns to Eldoret to run a week of activities and clinics.
