Ross-on-Wye charity finding people places to live

Available for over a year

Hear the story behind Warm Welcome, who help residents in need in one of the county's most expensive towns. With rising house prices, but lower than average wages, Herefordshire is now the least affordable county in the West Midlands - a fact that means rising numbers of people are ending up homeless or in temporary accommodation. Our reporter James Pearson saw the success of community project Warm Welcome, speaking to founder Milly Boylan, as well as group users Terry Hill and Caz Holbrook, who are living in temporary accommodation. He also challenged Herefordshire councillor Carole Gandy on what authorities can do to increase the provision of affordable housing.
