AI model 'can predict life outcomes' - researcher

Newshour

Available for over a year

Artificial intelligence developed to model written language can be utilized to predict events in people's lives. A research project involving academics in Denmark and the US used large amounts of data about people's lives and trained models to systematically organise the data and predict what will happen in a person's life. Sune Lehmann, professor of complexity and network science at the Technical University of Denmark, told Newshour's Tim Franks about how it works. (Photo shows people crossing a road. Stock photo.
