Why has a popular Blackheath restaurant had to close?
Available for over a year
Former MasterChef finalist Tony Rodd has announced the closure of his Blackheath restaurant 'Copper & Ink' after five years. He told his followers online that the decision was made with a "heavy heart" - but the cost of energy had increased his bills by £1,000 a month, and regular customers were also coming in less frequently because of the cost of living crisis. What's more, Tony paints a bleak picture for the London hospitality sector - and has warned that other restaurants in the capital may meet the same fate as his. He's been speaking to Kath Melandri on Â鶹Éç Radio London. (Image credit: Getty Images)
