A Leicester charity which supports homeless people in the city has been handing out food parcels and offering support in an area where flood water trapped people in their homes and damaged property. 'Help the Homeless' gathered together food and drink supplies for people living around Abbey Lane in Leicester where flood water reached chest level in some homes yesterday.
