Old log books dating back 70 years discovered during Tuebrook record shop renovations

The Musical Box on West Derby Road in Tuebrook, is a Liverpool institution. In fact last year they celebrated 75 years in business. And they marked the birthday by renovating the 2nd floor stock room and turning it into 2nd shop floor and museum displaying the record stores seven decade history. And this week they got in touch because during the refurbishments they unearthed some really interesting finds, including logbooks dating back to the 1950's. Owner Diane Cain spoke to Paul Beesley about the discovery and why they decided to do the renovations in the first place
