Police have launched an investigation after a woman was found dead on the M1. Leicestershire Police said they were called at 05:10 GMT after a motorist travelling along the southbound carriageway at junction 22 reported a body in the road. Officers, alongside East Midlands Ambulance Service, went to the scene and later confirmed a woman had died. Reporter Sara Palmer has this update.
