"I drove XL bully from Ascot to Scotland ahead of ban"

Available for over a year

Justine usually lives in Berkshire - but she has temporarily moved to Scotland with an American XL Bully dog she rescued. Residents found the dog on the streets of Ascot tied to a tree, looking "distressed, cold & malnourished". As of Thursday 1st February, it is illegal to own an unregistered XL Bully dog in England and Wales. The government says this is because of a "concerning rise in dog attacks and fatalities caused by this dangerous breed". XL Bully dogs are currently not banned in Scotland. Â鶹Éç Radio Berkshire's Kirsten O'Brien hears Justine's story. For more on this story, check the Â鶹Éç News app.
