Measles cases in Leicester on the rise
Available for over a year
Health bosses in Leicester are urging people to make sure their vaccinations are up to date, amid a rise in measles. There were 8 new cases across the East Midlands in the past week - most of them here in Leicester. That's up from a total of 11 in the previous week. We asked parents outside a Leicester school whether their children are vaccinated, and Dr Vanessa MacGregor - a Consultant in Communicable Disease Control at The UK Health Security Agency - tells Edward Adoo of the dangerous impact of the disease.
