Demonstrations have taken place near Russian embassies in several countries to express outrage at the death in custody of the opposition leader Alexei Navalny. In Russia itself, human rights activists say police have detained more than a hundred people attending memorials. Bill Browder is the author of "Freezing Order: Surviving Putin's Wrath'. He's the founder and CEO of Hermitage Capital Management, which was the largest foreign investor in Russia until 2005. He is a leading campaigner to expose Russian corruption and human rights abuses.
