Warwickshire Midwife behind scheme which helps bereaved parents

Available for over a year

Bereaved parents who lose a baby before 24 weeks of pregnancy in England can now receive a certificate in recognition of their loss. It's hoped that it will help families cope with grief and acknowledge the existence of their child. Two of those behind the government's Independent Pregnancy Loss Review, which led to the scheme, are Zoe Clark-Coates from the "Saying Goodbye" charity and Sam Collinge, a lead bereavement midwife from Warwickshire. They have both also experienced child loss, and they joined Â鶹Éç CWR's Phil Upton to share their experience and awareness of why these certificates are needed.
