The last residents of the South Kilburn Estate moved out in July 2021 - and since then the areas around Exeter and Hereford houses have been filled with rubbish on an 'industrial scale'. One neighbour, 75-year-old June Turner, branded the situation in north-west London as "scandalous". She said: "It's become a great area for the drug-dealers, fly-tippers, the squatters. This is unacceptable." Brent Council, which started to clear the waste only after being contacted by the Â鶹Éç, said the site "will remain under constant surveillance". So how was it allowed to get in this state? Â鶹Éç Radio London's Harry Low has been to find out.
