A film about a teenager from Rotherham who died of cancer at the age of 19 has won a national award. Lulu Blundell died at home on New Year's Day last year. The film is made up of videos from Lulu’s social media accounts. Her mother, Carolyn, narrates with extracts of her daughter’s posts. The film was awarded the People’s Choice Award 2024 at the Smiley Charity Film Awards.
