Â鶹Éç Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards are your chance to recognise a person or group in your community who does something extraordinary. Jenny Pike runs the Haven Lunch club in Southampton and was a finalist in the Community Group category in the 2023 Make a Difference Awards. The Lunch Club at St. Mark’s Church in Shirley runs in partnership with Communicare every Friday. With no need to book and just £5 for a 2 course home cooked lunch and unlimited hot drinks, it’s a fab place to meet and make friends. Nominations for the 2024 Â鶹Éç Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards have now closed. The winners will be announced at our award ceremony in September.
